Battle Ground — Laurin Middle School student Rayna Gardea won an Award of Merit for grades 7 and 8 in the 2018 Rose City Classic Art Show.
She will have her artwork featured in the Rose City Classic Dog Show running today through Sunday at the Portland Expo Center.
This year’s art show theme is “My Dog’s Got Talent.” Rayna has already earned a few awards for her art, and was chosen as a winner in the Modern Orthodontist’s annual calendar competition two straight years.
