Jason Franklin scored 26 points to lead Union to a win over Battle Ground.

The Titans jumped ahead out of the gate and led by nine after a quarter — six at half.

Then Union, who hit 10 3-pointers as a team, distanced itself in the third.

“They hit a lot of open 3s,” Battle Ground coach Manny Melo said. “We left a lot of guys open. So credit to them for hitting open shots.”

Tyler Combs added 14 points for Union.

Hunter Holliday scored 18 and Kaden Perry had 10 points and 16 rebounds for the Tigers.
