Voting, sponsored Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Jan. 13.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

To avoid vote manipulation, voting is restricted by IP address, one vote per IP address. That means people voting while connected to a public WIFI access may be unable vote. We suggest voting be done by private internet access or through your cellular provider.

TANNER LEES, WASHOUGAL BOYS WRESTLING: Lees won by pin in the championship match at 145 pounds at the Clark County Championships.

VINCENT MCCORMIC, BATTLE GROUND BOYS BASKETBALL: McCormic scored 20 points vs. Skyview and had 13 points and seven assists in a win over Camas.

TAYLOR MILLS, LA CENTER GIRLS BASKETBALL: Mills had 18 points and 12 rebounds vs. Castle Rock, 21 points vs. White Salmon and 10 rebounds vs. Kalama.

KRISTA WARREN, UNION GIRLS WRESTLING: Warren won the 145-pound division at the Clark County Championships, leading Union to the team title.

ERIC WU, CAMAS BOYS SWIMMING: Wu set a meet record in winning the 100 butterfly and won the 100 breaststroke at the Kelso Invitational.
