Strong defense and few turnovers helped get the Cougars past King’s in Seattle.
“It was our outstanding team defense vs. a very athletic team,” Seton coach Phil Kent said. “We kept them out of the paint.”
Seton also took care of the ball with just seven turnovers.
Isaiah Parker led the Cougars in scoring with 19 points, Luke Pitzer had 13, and Andrew Olson had 11.
Seton never gave up the lead in the fourth quarter, and King’s had the final shot to tie but it rimmed out.
