Girls basketball: Union 69, Heritage 20

Mason Oberg notched 26 points, six assists and seven steals and Union controlled from the beginning in its league win over Heritage.

The Titans got up to a 14-point lead after one quarter.

“We got up pretty early and had a pretty strong first half,” Union coach Mike Cranston said.

The Titans then held Heritage to three points in the third quarter.

Toryi Midland finished with a near-double-double, managing 10 points and nine boards for Union.

Katie Peneueta led Heritage with 11 points.
