Hunter Ecklund scored 29 points and La Center’s offense exploded in the second half to breeze past Columbia-White Salmon.
The Wildcats led by six at halftime. Then they scored 30 points in the third quarter — just five shy of its first-half total — and 27 in the fourth to coast to a win.
“We came out in the third quarter and controlled the boards, and they just couldn’t keep up with our speed,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said.
Avery Seter scored 17 points and Colby Shaw added 13 for the Wildcats, who had five players notch double-figure scoring.
