Kaden Perry scored 21 points to help Battle Ground upend Camas.

Then Perry managed a momentous dunk that helped the Tigers head into halftime up two.

Battle Ground led comfortably down the stretch.

Vince McCormic scored 10 of his 13 points in the second half, and added seven assists for the Tigers.

“Coming in being able to beat a top-10 RPI team at their place, it’s a huge league win for us,” Battle Ground coach Manny Melo said. “We have aspirations to go on past the regular season, and this was a win we definitely had to have. … you could see the looks on the kids faced that they were hungry.”

Jackson Glikbarg and Isaiah Sampson each scored 14 points for the Papermakers (11-5, 1-3), who dropped their second game of the week.

The Tigers (9-6, 2-1) move above .500 in league play with the road win.
