Matt Gama had 15 points as the Spudders used a big second quarter to propel them to a road league win.
“It was probably our best quarter of the year,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said. “We played well on both ends of the floor. We hit some big baskets, moved the ball well, had some baskets in transition and just about every shot was contested on defense.”
Ridgefield used its 16-3 edge to build a 26-9 halftime lead. R.A. Long cut the margin to 37-26 after three quarters but the Spudders were able to beat the Lumberjacks’ press in the fourth quarter to secure the win.
Kade Ramey added 10 points for Ridgefield.
