Three people were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries after a three-car crash at East Fort Vancouver Way and East Fourth Plain Boulevard Monday afternoon.

The Vancouver Police Department said officers responded around 5:20 p.m. to the multi-vehicle crash, just north of the Clark College campus. The department said that evening initial information indicated two vehicles were traveling at high speed, then a third pulled out in front of them and was struck.

Three occupants were hospitalized, the police said, and their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The department’s traffic detectives are investigating the crash, and both directions of Fourth plain between Z Street and Fort Vancouver Way were closed into the evening.
