Clark Public Utilities’ StreamTeam is calling on volunteers to register for upcoming tree-planting and seedling-potting events. Marking the 25th year of working to restore habitat in Salmon Creek, volunteers participating in at least five events will get a “25 trees for 25 years” thank you gift.
The 2018 season starts with a potting event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 15. Advanced registration is required. All tools and training are provided.
Potting events will be at Clark Public Utilities’ native plant nursery in Orchards, regardless of weather. Planting events are to be held at a variety of project locations. More information will be provided during registration.
