Mountain View coach Dave McIntosh was quick to point out the skill of Kelso guard Alexis Kleven in the Hilanders’ win over the Thunder.
Kleven had 17 points to lead all scorers in the 3A GSHL matchup.
“She’s a tough player,” McIntosh said.
The Thunder started on a 9-2 run, but Kelso responded with a 12-0 run that stretched into the second quarter and never looked back.
