Boys basketball: Camas 74, Heritage 41

Connor Shira scored 18 points to help Camas nab its first league win on Friday.

Camas led 37-17 at half, and Ben Cooke scored all of his 15 points by the time Heritage had 19 total as a team.

“Seemed like everything was going in for him,” Camas coach Ryan Josephson said.

The Papermakers assisted on 22 of their 31 made field goals.

“It was a strong team effort,” Josephson said. “We were moving the ball, really focusing on execution tonight.”
