Washington State University Vancouver will honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a public event titled “Reclaiming Our King: The Radical Legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.”
The free and public event will run from noon to 2 p.m. Jan. 15 in the Firstenburg Student Commons,14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave., Vancouver.
Kent Ford, founder of the Portland chapter of the Black Panther Party, will issue the keynote address.
