Vancouver — The Columbia Gorge District Council of the Boy Scouts of America will gift nonprofit Friends of the Carpenter with hundreds of men’s, women’s and children’s coats. The coats will be delivered Saturday to Friends of the Carpenter’s west Vancouver warehouse.

“We are truly blessed to have such generous partners as the Boy Scouts of America to help us in assisting those in need during the winter months,” Tom Iberle, executive director, said in a news release.

The nonprofit’s partners including FISH, Clark County Adventist Community Services, Open House Ministries, the Vancouver and Evergreen school districts and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul will get to give out the coats.
