Kam Osborn scored 37 points as Prairie opened 3A Greater St. Helens League play with a road win.
Osborn scored 10 points in the first quarter and never slowed down. The junior point guard made two 3-pointers and was 9-for-11 from the foul line. Most of his points came on drives into the key.
“We were trying to defend the 3-point line and did a decent job of that,” Evergreen coach Brett Henry said. “But that probably overextended our defense.”
Dante Heitschmidt had 15 points and Braiden Broadbent added 14 for Prairie (7-4, 1-0).
Dwight Jones scored 13 points, Carter Monda had 11 and Jeremy Harju added 10 for Evergreen (4-6, 0-1).
