Truman — The Clark Neighbors Food Project collected more than 1,000 pounds of quality nonperishable food to feed hungry local families through FISH of Vancouver and the Truman School family assistance program on Feb. 10. The project collects food on the second Saturday of every even-numbered month. The next collection will be April 14. The February collection added 25 homes in Ridgefield, which collected 280 pounds of food, and a business partner which donated about 75 pounds of food. Neighbors in Cascade Park and Salmon Creek will also be joining the program. For more information, visit www.clarkfoodproject.org.
