Officials have raised the reward for information on a knife-wielding bank robber who ripped off banks around the Portland and Vancouver areas to $30,000.
The Froggy Robber, so named by the FBI for his tendency to jump counters before robbing tellers at knifepoint, is suspected in up to six bank robberies around the area since October.
The FBI said the man robbed banks in the Oregon communities of Canby, Portland, Wilsonville, Beaverton and Scappoose and the Wells Fargo bank branch in downtown Vancouver.
The Oregon Financial Institutions Security Task Force, an organization of Oregon banks and credit unions, announced Tuesday that it would offer up to $10,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the Froggy Robber.
