WOODLAND — The city of Woodland is seeking comments from residents for a proposed rate increase for solid waste collection, meaning garbage and recycling. The city received a notice of Solid Waste Disposal Rate Increase from Cowlitz County and Waste Control.
The proposed ordinance would be effective April 16. Anyone interested on the topic can speak during a council meeting at 7 p.m. March 5 at council chambers, 200 E. Scott Ave., Woodland.
