Isaac Hoidal scored 22, Lincoln Krog added 20 and Stevenson withstood persistent late comeback attempts to defeat Hoquiam in a loser-out game.

Now Stevenson advances to another loser-out game against Seton Catholic on Thursday at Woodland High School; Hoquiam’s season is over.

“They did their job tonight, it was awesome to see,” Stevenson coach Keven Edwards said.

Stevenson lead by 16 at halftime, but Hoqiuam’s offense clicked into gear in the third quarter when it put up 27 points.

But the Bulldogs sealed the game when it mattered.

Stevenson stole the ball and Isaac Hoidal converted a fast-break layup with 50 seconds left to give the Bulldogs a 75-68 lead.

On the ensuing possession, Lincoln Krog raced past defenders on a fast break and scored a layup while being fouled. He sank the free throw, which put the game out of reach.
