Washougal High School student actors earn awards in one-act play competition in Longview

Washougal — Six actors from Washougal High School competed in the Stageworks Northwest One-Act Play Festival competition on Jan. 20 in Longview: Kyle Stern, Kurtis Villarreal, Tori Corkum, Shane Fussell, Emily McNeale and Rebekah Muir. Two of the students were honored at the festival. Fussell earned a best actor award and McNeale was named best student director. The six returned to Longview on Jan. 27 to perform in a showcase performance of their play, “An Undisclosed Location” by Ed Monk.
