HAPO Community Credit Union, headquartered in Richland, is opening its first Vancouver branch in the Mountain View neighborhood on March 28.

Construction broke ground in June on the 10,000-square-foot building. The branch, at 13909 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., will employ eight people.

The credit union has more than 150,000 members in Oregon and Washington. This is its 18th full-service branch, not including drive-up locations.
