The Spudders held off visiting R.A. Long to secure the third seed from the 2A Greater St. Helens League for the district playoffs.
Kade Ramey scored 14 points, and Kellen Bringhurst had 12 for Ridgefield (11-8, 6-5 2A GSHL).
Ridgefield had its hands full with R.A. Long, never having a lead more than five points.
“We really didn’t assert ourselves until the fourth quarter,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said. “We were able to control the pace down the stretch.”
The Spudders will open districts at Centralia, 7 p.m. on Feb. 10.
