Girls basketball: Ridgefield 80, Mission Bay 40

Allie Andrew had 17 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks as the Spudders rolled to another big win at the Surf ‘N Slam Tournament in San Diego.

Ridgefield (6-3) will face Bentley of Lafayette, Calif., for the championship of the San Diego Division of the tournament at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The Spudders seized control with a 25-9 edge in the second quarter that allowed them to open up a 44-21 advantage.

Ridgefield had 22 assists to only nine turnover, and the Spudders made 9 of 14 3-point shots.

Karli Oliver added 11 points and five assists and Devi Dugan had 17 points and five assists.
