Boys basketball: King’s Way Christian 60, Brewster 57, OT

Bryson Metz and Kobi Cason hit back-to-back free throws in the overtime period and Brady Metz sealed the win with two free throws as King’s Way Christian concluded play in the SunDome Shootout in Yakima.

After Brady Metz hit a free throw at the end of regulation to force overtime, Cason and Bryson hit 3-pointers to give King’s Way Christian 58-52 lead in overtime.

Brewster got within 58-57 before Brady Metz hit two more free throws.

Khal Cason scored 13 points to lead four Knights in double figures — Brady Metz (12), Bryson Metz (12) and Kobi Cason (11).

Bryson Metz also had eight rebounds and Justin Frahm added six steals for King’s Way (5-5).
