Statewide phone network outages are also causing problems at Clark County’s 911 service, Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency warned Thursday night, and the agency said callers with emergencies should instead dial 360-693-3111.

The county’s 311 service appeared to be unaffected, the agency said, and its 911 text message service also still functions.

CRESA spokesman Eric Frank said the outages appeared to be affecting 911 services statewide.

CenturyLink customers nationwide saw phone and internet service outages earlier in the day, and it was unclear whether the incidents were related.

The agency recommended people hang on to those numbers until further notice.
