Taylor Stephens scored 16 points but the Wildcats couldn’t overcome Kelso’s fast start at the Evergreen Holiday Tournament.
Alexis Kieven scored 20 points and made four 3-pointers in the first quarter, when Kelso went ahead 19-7.
La Center (2-5) pulled within seven points in the fourth quarter, but Kelso (4-5) secured the win at the foul line.
Kylee Stephens had 15 points and 11 rebounds for La Center.
