Despite scoring just two points in the third quarter, the Titans bounced back on the road to stay undefeated and hand Lincoln its first loss of the season.

Lincoln of Tacoma trailed 37-36 after outscoring Union 15-2 in the third. It was part of a 23-2 run that stretched into the fourth quarter.

But Union fought back, taking the lead on back-to-back 3-pointers by Tanner Toolson and Ethan Smith midway through the fourth.

The Titans (10-0) then held off Lincoln (7-1) by making 13 of 14 free throws in the fourth quarter.

“For group that hasn’t been through adversity, shows we’re really tough,” Union coach Blake Conley said. “Lincoln had all the momentum in the world.”

Smith finished with 21 points and Toolson added 15.
