Sherwood Hills — Sherwood Hills Neighborhood held a belated Make a Difference Day cleanup Nov. 10. The neighbors met to beautify their neighborhood with a trash cleanup on Highway 99 and the on-ramp to Interstate 5. Make a Difference Day, which started in 1992, typically falls on the fourth Saturday in October every year. It is one of the largest days of service of the year, and locally volunteer opportunities are all outside picking up trash or benefiting local air, water and habitat quality by planting native flora.
