King’s 6-foot-6 freshman Tyler Lindardt proved too much for Seton Catholic in a non-league game, scoring 18 of his 29 points in the first half.
King’s roster featured five players 6-5 for taller. Seton Catholic’s tallest player is 6-4.
“Their length really bothered us,” Seton Catholic coach Kris Small said. “They had a good game plan around Linhardt and he put them all in. We got him into foul trouble in the second half, but by then the damage was done.”
Xavian Rushing had 16 points and Gabe Anderson added 10 for Seton Catholic, which dropped to 7-3.
“Hopefully we can use this one as a learning lesson and start to put things together,” Small said.
