The Ridgefield girls basketball team can go into Christmas break with two positives.
The first is a 60-50 victory over Woodland to get a 2A Greater St. Helens League win in the books.
The second is a trip to San Diego next week for the Surf N Slam tournament.
“It was just a good team game for us,” Ridgefield coach Tom Klutz said, pointing out the Spudders 16 steals and 15 assists.
Allie Andrews had 19 points, 14 rebounds and nine blocked shots for Ridgefield (4-3, 1-1). Devin Dugan had 12 points, and Kelli Krsul had five steals.
Kaily Christensen led Woodland (4-3, 0-1) in scoring with 16 points, Payten Foster had 12, and Nicole Guthrie had 11.
