Kelso 57, Prairie 52 — Prairie erased a slow start and took the lead late, but could not hang on in a league loss to Kelso on the road.
Kelso got up to a 20-7 lead early, but Prairie cut the deficit to four by half.
Aidan Fraly’s layup with just over two minutes left gave the Falcons the lead, but Kelso’s Jayden Hardeman hit a 3 to reclaim the lead, and the Hilanders hit free throws to pull away.
The Hilanders attempted 15 free throws opposite Prairie’s eight.
“There’s the difference in the game right there,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said.
Kameron Osborn had 16 points AJ Dixson had 14. Kelso’s Shaw Anderson had 19 points and Hardeman had 13.
