Freshman Kahlil Singleton hit the go-ahead in overtime to help the Trappers secure their first win of the season over rival Hudson’s Bay.

Fort had a 14 point lead at half, which was trimmed to nine at the end of the fourth.

Then Bay came surging back in the fourth quarter and took a three point lead with 1:20 left.

Fort coach James Ensley subbed in big man Myron Lawrence and “he freakin came through like a mack truck,” Ensley said.

Lawrence hit the tying layup with 40 seconds left.

The Trappers had the ball with an opportunity to win with five seconds left in regulation, but did not get a shot off.

Eli Hoover had a game-high 19 points for Bay. James Hasband Jr. led Fort with 15 and Singleton had 11.
