Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center seeks weekend volunteers to guide activities, provide short tours and sell merchandise at its visitor center. Shifts are three hours, morning or afternoons Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Columbia Springs is also recruiting new park stewards to plant trees, maintain trails and make minor repairs. Volunteer docents can apply now to assist with guided tours and activities. Docent training will begin in early spring.

Friends of the Carpenter is looking for central activity assistants to share special skills, crafts, activities or to help the activity coordinator with projects. Host positions at the front desk, hospitality center and shower trailer are also needed.

nConnect seeks volunteer support for career learning experiences. Volunteers can assist with resume workshops, mock interviews, speed networking panel discussions, career days or provide a guest speech. Opportunities include mentoring positions, serving as an academic competition judge or guiding site tours.

Villages Clark County helps seniors find the services they need to stay in their homes and is looking to fill the position of volunteer coordinator. Duties include recruiting and networking volunteers.

Volunteer Connections is offering flexible weekday shifts for office volunteers, including making phone calls, filing and data entry. Those interested should value accuracy, have experience with data entry programs and pleasant phone manners.
