Clark County couple earn lifetime philanthropic award

Portland — Lee and Connie Kearney received the Vollum Award at the 32nd Annual Philanthropy Awards presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Oregon and Southwest Washington Chapter on Nov. 7 in Portland. The Kearneys have served, funded and enlisted support for charitable causes including PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, YWCA Clark County, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington and Oregon State University. Other Clark County residents who previously received the Vollum Award are Ed and Dollie Lynch, Wes and Nancy Lematta and E.W. and Mary Firstenburg. The Vollum Award is given to those for a lifetime of philanthropic achievement.
