Girls basketball: Hudson’s Bay 68, Kelso 66, OT

Jaydia Martin made two free throws in the final second of overtime to lift the Eagles (7-1, 1-0) to a 3A Greater St. Helens League win on the road.

Martin, who had 23 points, also tied the game at the end of regulation.

With her team trailing 60-58 with six seconds remaining, she stole an inbounds pass, dribbled the length of the floor, made a layup and was fouled. She missed a free throw that would have won the game.

Aniyah Hampton led the Eagles with 31 points, including 29 in the second half and overtime.

Natalie Frey scored 22 points for Kelso (3-4, 0-1).
