The Falcons cruised from the start and continue their hot outside team shooting hitting 14 3-pointers in a nonleague win over the defending 2A state champions on the road.
Six different Falcons hit a 3-pointer.
“They have no fear,” Prairie coach Hala Corral said of her team’s 3-point shooting. “They’re confident the ball is going in.”
As impressive as Prairie’s shoot was, Corral was equally pleased with her team’s passing.
Prairie jumped out to a 22-6 first-half lead and led 42-26 at halftime.
Cassidy Gardner had a game-best 22 points including five made 3-pointers. Kendyl Carson added 13 and Alli Corral had 12.
