A man was killed while performing maintenance work on his vehicle Friday evening. Clark County Fire District 6 was dispatched to a Felida neighborhood in the 12500 block of N.W. 26th Ave. at 8:59 p.m. on Friday. The Clark County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the same site two minutes later.

According to Sgt. Robert Latter at the sheriff’s office, the man was found pinned beneath his vehicle, which appeared to have rolled on top of him while he was working on it in his driveway. The vehicle was reported to be an SUV, Latter said, and the parking brake had been set at the time of the accident.

Latter said the sheriff’s office would not publicly identify the man until the coroner notifies his next of kin, which will likely happen on Monday.
