The Spudders hung on for the nonleague win after their 15-point fourth-quarter lead got cut to one possession late behind the shooting of Castle Rock’s Connor Edwards.
Ten of Edwards’ game-high 21 points came in the fourth quarter to help Castle Rock get within a possession.
Ridgefield improves to 2-0 with 12 points from James Corey and 11 from Stefan Vossenkuhl.
“It was a dogfight down the stretch,” Ridgefield coach Jason Buffum said. “We were lucky to sneak this one out.”
