Washougal building added to county’s historical registry

Washougal — The Clark County Historic Preservation Commission listed the Blair Building on the Clark County Heritage Register earlier this summer. The building, 1801 Main St., was constructed in 1925. It is one of the oldest structures remaining in Washougal’s traditional downtown core and is the most intact of all remaining older brick commercial buildings in the nearby vicinity. It was originally used as a meat market and butcher shop.
