Camas — 100 Women Who Care Clark County donated $10,000 to the Camas Farmers Market and Villages Clark County at its Aug. 8 meeting at Salud! Wine Bar in Camas. The nonprofit selected Villages Clark County as a recipient for the money at the May meeting, and the Camas Farmers Market at the June meeting. The farmers market will use the money to help fund Produce Pals, which is geared toward encouraging children to make healthy choices at the market, and Fresh Match programs for SNAP recipients. Villages Clark County is an organization looking to build a village to allow seniors to live in and remain part of the community. The local group is part of the Regional Villages Northwest group that has nine villages up and running, including two in Portland, one in Hillsboro, Ore., and one in Beaverton, Ore.
