Alumni welcome students to Washington State University Vancouver

Lisa Abrahamsson, assistant director of development and alumni relations, joins Erich Orth of the class of 1999 to wave the Washington State University banner on Monday morning at Washington State University Vancouver. Dozens of WSU staff, alumni and friends turned out for the daylong ritual. Held on the first day of classes, the volunteers took hourlong turns standing on three street corners leading to the Salmon Creek campus, welcoming new and returning students.
