Clark County Public Health has lifted the swim beach warning at Klineline Pond after the latest test results didn’t show elevated levels of bacterial contamination, according to a Public Health press release.

Public Health closed Klineline Pond Tuesday after routine testing discovered elevated levels of E. Coli bacteria. After more testing Wednesday, which showed improved water quality, Public Health re-opened the swim beach Thursday, but placed it under a warning.

When a second round of testing confirmed the improved water quality today, Public Health lifted the warning, and removed caution signs at the pond, according to the release.

Public Health will monitor the swim beach at Klineline Pond, as well as swim beaches at Battle Ground Lake and Vancouver Lake, throughout summer. Test results and more information can be seen at the Public Health public beaches website.
