Fairway-164th Ave. — The 11th annual Touchmark Car Show & Barbecue raised $5,000 for local nonprofits which benefit seniors and veterans. The show featured more than 150 cars, and had an attendance of at least 1,500. Kellie Wagnild, resident relations manager at Touchmark at Fairway Village, has coordinated every car show since its inception. “We are so grateful for the continued support and commitment to this event and the many people who benefit from services offered by the Alzheimer’s Association, Clark County Food Bank, Parkinson’s Association and Veterans of Clark County,” she said in a news release. To date, $35,000 has been raised to benefit local nonprofits from the event.
