PORTLAND — Northwest Natural Gas Co. on Tuesday reported a second-quarter loss of $998,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.
The Portland-based company said it had a loss of 3 cents per share. Losses, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, were 1 cent per share.
The natural gas distributor posted revenue of $124.6 million in the period.
Northwest Natural Gas shares have risen roughly 9 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has fallen slightly in the last 12 months.
