The Human Bean, a drive-through coffee chain, is looking to open a second location in Vancouver.

The proposed business would be at 14516 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., in the northwest corner of the parking lot for Hearthwood Dog and Cat Clinic. The Human Bean would replace an existing coffee kiosk.

According to a land use application, the kiosk would see an estimated daily traffic of between 300 and 400 customers. Hours of operation would be from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the shop would offer coffee and espresso drinks as well as some baked goods.

The Human Bean currently operates a Vancouver location at 15630 N.E. Fourth Plain Blvd. The company is headquartered in Medford, Ore. and has 79 shops nationwide.
