The fun continues at the Clark County Fair, which is celebrating its 150th year. Hailey Hartzell, from left, Maya Hartzell and Connor McKay take the Cliff Hanger for a spin while enjoying the rides at the Clark County Fair on Monday afternoon. The trio, who are from Monroe, said they were having fun showing their cows at the fair. While they enjoyed the carnival, Penelope the Clown strolled the fairgrounds. She took a moment to share an alien balloon and a smile with Jackson Moore, 8, of Beaverton, Ore.

• Hours Tuesday, Aug. 7:10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• Where:17402 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield.

• Admission:Adults, $11.25; seniors 62 and older, $9.25; kids 7-12, $8.25; kids 6 and younger, free; current and past military with ID, $7.25 today, uniformed service members, free Tuesday, Aug. 7, for Military Appreciation Day.

 Parking and transportation: Parking, $6 per vehicle (cash only); C-Tran shuttle, free from six main transfer stations; $1 discount on full gate admission with bus transfer ticket. Schedules at www.c-tran.com/fair.

• ERS Free Grandstand:Mutton Busting, 2 and 7 p.m.

• Pets: Not permitted, except for service animals or those on exhibit or in competition.
