The Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify a man whose body was found May 25 in the Columbia River.

The man may have gone missing sometime within the last year, according to the medical examiner’s office.

He is described as being 50 or younger, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, and 150 pounds, with dark brown hair, a goatee, mustache and body hair.

The medical examiner’s office says the man’s teeth are healthy and his right ear is pierced.

Clothing that was recovered included a Crusoe men’s cotton tank top; Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs, size small; a T-shirt with flower and face design; dress socks; and dress slacks with “Swizz Cotton” label, size “30/76 cm.” His shoe size is 9-10, according to the medical examiner’s office.

Anyone with information on the man’s identity should contact the medical examiner’s office at 971-673-8220.
