Orchards Lions adopt Fircrest Elementary School

Fircrest — The Orchards Evergreen Lions Club adopted Fircrest Elementary School as one of the club’s community service projects. The Lions will provide the school with supplies, and participate in the school’s lunch buddy program. The club has donated books to the school’s lending library, and children’s helmets to school safety programs. The club also makes identification cards for children. The Lions meet at 7 p.m. the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the YMCA, 11324 N.E. 51st Circle, Vancouver.
