Eagle Scouts

Six Boy Scouts from the Fort Vancouver District passed the Eagle Scout Board of Review during March and advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout.

Kyle James Bushnell, of Boy Scout Troop 14, a senior at Skyview High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building a new riser platform for the Skyview High School Band with 52 volunteer hours. Bushnell, 18, is the son of Kimberly and William Bushnell.

Matthew Richard Stieber, of Boy Scout Troop 479, a sophomore at Columbia River High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in placing storm drain medallions for Clark County Public Works, with 96 volunteer hours. Stieber, 18, is the son of Cindy and Rick Stieber.

Jace Michael Rintala, of Boy Scout Troop 349, a senior at Battle Ground High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in renovating the Donna Mower Memorial Garden, with 54 volunteer hours. Rintala, 18, is the son of Teresa and Dean Rintala.

Tanner Jordan Brinton, of Boy Scout Troop 371, an eighth grader at CAM Academy, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in painting fire hydrants for the city of Battle Ground, with 152 volunteer hours. Brinton, 13, is the son of Krista and Dan Brinton.

Benjamin Heine Withee, of Boy Scout Troop 344, a senior at Battle Ground High School and Cascadia Technical Academy, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building planter boxes for the city of Yacolt, with 34 volunteer hours. Withee, 18, is the son of Jennifer and Robert Withee.

Jeffery Logan Gibert, of Boy Scout Troop 511, a senior at Prairie High School, led a group of Scouts and adult volunteers in building benches for Prairie High School, with 148 volunteer hours. Gibert, 18, is the son of Heather and Jon Gibert.
