WSUV commencement to feature 1,014 grads

Washington State University Vancouver will graduate 1,014 students at its 2018 commencement ceremony at 1 p.m. May 5 at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater, 17200 N.E. Delfel Road, Ridgefield.

Chancellor Mel Netzhammer will preside; Jose Scott, president of the student body, will deliver the commencement address.

The graduates include 24 doctoral candidates, 125 master’s candidates and 865 bachelor’s candidates.

Parking and gates open at 11 a.m. The seating area opens at 11:30 a.m. Concessions will be available. The event is free and open to the public. Tickets aren’t required.
